At Mercagro S.A., our purpose is to produce fruit, root and tuber snacks of excellent quality that meet our customers' requirements. To achieve this, we implement and maintain a Food Quality and Safety Management System in accordance with the FSSC 22000 standard, with the participation of competent people committed to meeting the applicable food safety requirements, to the continuous improvement of the system's processes, and to maintaining smooth internal and external communication as a fundamental part of our work.
Our company is committed to:
- Guaranteeing the safety and quality of the fruit, root and tuber snacks manufactured by Mercagro S.A., reducing the incidence of potentially unsafe product and of quality and food safety complaints.
- Keeping customer satisfaction, as expressed in our satisfaction surveys, above the established target.
- Comply with applicable legal requirements for quality and food safety, as well as the contractual obligations agreed with our customers and business partners.
- Keeping knowledge and skills related to food safety and quality up to date, so that they are reflected in the behavior of our workers.
- Continuously improving Mercagro S.A.'s Food Quality and Safety Management System through the closure of nonconformities.
